SALPATH was born out of a university research laboratory in 2003 and much of the ethos of research rigour and quality still permeates into the everyday operations of SALPATH.  We are regarded very highly by our research clients for producing results of the highest quality.  SALPATH founder Dr Sinan Ali completed his doctoral thesis in the area of steroid hormone action, in particular the role of hormone binding proteins in steroid hormone activity and continued his research looking at innovative ways of measuring hormones.

SALPATH specialise in the analysis of hormones in saliva and hair samples as well as blood in humans and animal species.  We are the only private laboratory offering hormonal analysis in saliva and hair samples and the only laboratory in the world offering multiple hormone analysis (3+) from the same hair sample.  Results produced on many projects have been included in publications in highly regarded refereed international journals.

SALPATH offers hormonal analysis services to university researchers and public and private research institutes in the discipline of psychology, medicine, physiology, neurosciences, and developmental neurosciences.  We have analysed hormones for researchers at nearly all the well known universities across Australia as well as researchers in Germany and Japan.
